Lead Outcomes
What happened to your leads, why the rest didn't book, and who is still worth a call.
The Lead outcomes page answers: what happened to my leads, and why didn't the rest book? It is the page to open when you want to know who to call back.
Still on the table
The green panel at the top estimates what the leads you can still follow up are worth. It is the number of leads in To follow up times your average job in the same dates. It is an estimate, not a promise: not every one of them will book. See who to follow up opens exactly those leads, so the count in the panel and the list always match.
Outcomes
One bar splits every lead into four groups. Hover a part to see its count, and click it to see the leads.
- Booked: the work was won. This includes leads that have already paid.
- To follow up: not booked yet, and there is still something you can do. These are the people worth calling.
- Open: still in progress, with nothing for you to chase right now.
- Lost: marked lost in your CRM, the customer clearly said no (they turned down the quote, said it cost too much, went with someone else, or no longer need it), or it was work you couldn't serve.
Why they didn't book
Every lead that didn't book gets one reason, so the reasons add up to the total. Ghost uses facts first, like missed calls, unanswered messages and quotes, and only uses what was said in the conversation when it clearly gives a reason. The reasons are grouped by who can act on them. Click a group to open it.
You can still follow up
- Missed call, never called back: they called, nobody answered, and nobody called them back.
- Wrote in, never replied to: they sent a text, email or form, and got no reply.
- Called back, never got through: you called them back but never reached them.
- Never spoke to them: there was never a real conversation.
- Talked, no quote sent: you spoke to them, but no quote went out.
- Quote sent, no answer yet: they have a quote and haven't replied.
They said no
- Quote declined, no reason given
- Shopping around / chose someone else
- Price: they said it costs too much.
- No longer needed: the problem went away, or they changed their mind.
You couldn't serve them
- Service you don't offer and Outside your area. These are never on the follow-up list, because there is nothing to chase. If you sent them a quote, they count as something you could serve.
Other
- Timing / wants it later: they want the work at another time, like next spring. This is a later booking, not a lost one.
- Unclear if it's a lead: the conversation didn't make it clear they wanted work.
- Booked, not found in CRM: the conversation says they booked, but Ghost can't find the job in your CRM yet.
- Not read yet: the conversation hasn't been read yet.
By channel
Leads, booked leads, booked rate, never reached and revenue for each channel. Every number opens those leads.
The stages in the pipeline
Each lead shows one stage, the same on the list and on the board:
- New: nobody has replied yet.
- Contacted: you have been in touch.
- Quoted: a quote went out.
- Booked: the work is won and the invoice is not fully paid yet.
- Paid: paid in full.
- Lost: marked lost in your CRM, or the customer clearly said no.
The numbers match
Every number on this page opens the Leads pipeline with the same leads and the same count. Everything follows the date at the top of Ghost, and leads are counted by the day they started, so the most recent days are still filling in as people book.
