Booking Rate
Booked leads as a share of leads, and how to read a recent one.
Booking rate is booked leads divided by total leads, for leads that started in the selected period.
Reading a recent period
The most recent weeks are incomplete by definition: some of those leads have not had time to book. A booking rate for last week will rise. Comparing last week against a finished month is comparing an unfinished number against a finished one.
When it is unavailable
With no leads in the period there is no rate — Ghost shows nothing rather than 0%.
What moves it
Answering more enquiries, answering them faster, and attracting enquiries for work you actually do. A falling rate with rising lead volume usually means the new volume is worse qualified, which the Lead Outcomes page breaks down by reason.
