Which connections can bring your past data, and how far back.

Section: Data Availability. Web version: https://ghost.supermanservices.ca/help/what-ghost-imports-historically

Some connections can import what already happened. Others can only start from the moment you connect them. Which is which is a property of the tool, not a Ghost setting.

## Connections with a history import
- **Your CRM** — past customers, requests, quotes and invoices.
- **Call tracking** — past calls and the source data stored with them, as far back as your plan retains.
- **Advertising** — past campaign and spend data.
- **Email** — past messages in the mailbox you connect.

## Connections that start from now
- **A phone system connected by webhook** — calls arrive as they happen; earlier calls are not available.
- **A website form connected by webhook or snippet** — submissions arrive from setup onwards.

## How far back
It depends on what the source still holds, and Ghost cannot promise a window it does not control. Rather than claim one, each connection shows the earliest record it actually produced once the import has run. See [How to Check a Connection's Data Window](https://ghost.supermanservices.ca/help/check-a-connections-data-window).
