# How to Check a Connection's Data Window

> For the complete documentation index, see [llms.txt](https://ghost.supermanservices.ca/llms.txt).

Find the exact date a source starts, and whether it is still importing.

Section: Data Availability. Web version: https://ghost.supermanservices.ca/help/check-a-connections-data-window

Every connection in Ghost reports the earliest record it has actually produced — not an estimate of what might be available.

## Where to look
Open **Setup** and expand the relevant task. Each connected provider shows:
- **Data available from** — the date of its earliest record in Ghost.
- **Importing** — whether work is still in flight.
- **Last sync** — when the connection last succeeded.

**Setup → Attribution Health** shows the same facts for every source at once, alongside anything that needs attention.

## Reading it
If a provider shows no "data available from" date, nothing has arrived yet. That is different from a failed connection, which says so explicitly, and different again from an import in progress.

A page covering dates before a source's window is empty for a reason the page itself will state.
