# Ad Spend

What is counted, from which accounts, on which dates.

Ad spend is what your connected advertising accounts recorded as cost in the selected period, for the accounts you included.

## What is included
Spend from every included account on every connected platform, on the platform's own reporting date.

## What is not
- Accounts you excluded during setup.
- Platforms you have not connected.
- Agency fees, creative costs and anything that never appears in an ad account.

## Why it can differ slightly from the platform
Platforms restate recent days as they finalise billing. Ghost re-reads recent dates on each sync, so a figure for yesterday can change for a day or two and then settle.
